CSRD Bootcamp Curriculum

MODUL 1 - The Basics (350 min + 50 min live Q&A)

During the first module, our international instructors will talk about why implementing CSRD should not just be a compliance exercise for your company and how it can benefit your sustainable transition, financial performance and employee engagement. How has the CSRD evolved and how does it relate to the EU Green Deal? What does CSRD require and what is up to EU Member States? You will learn from experienced ESG auditors what the CSRD audit process will look like and how companies can gain limited assurance on their reports. This will also include a brief overview of the EU Taxonomy. What does the EU Taxonomy say? And how does it relate to the CSRD? Then, we will take an in-depth look at how GRI reporting and ISO standards are related to CSRD and how they can be used in the implementation of CSRD. At the end of the module, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, which will be answered by the experts.

MODUL 2 - Double Materiality Assessment (450 min + 50 min live Q&A)

In this module we'll share everything we know about DMA: What have we learned from standards, implementation guides and early adopters? What are the building blocks you need to use to create your own DMA process? We will delve deeper into value chain mapping through case studies, then practice it together. We'll go into detail on IROs. Where do we even start when identifying IROs? What is a positive impact and how to differentiate it from mitigation actions? In the second part of the session, we will practice together identifying and assessing IROs in denxpert software. We will also learn about materiality threshold setting and how to best present your DMA results. Towards the end of the module there will be an introduction to denxpert's DMA tool. At the end of the module there will be a live Q&A session.

MODUL 3 - Narrative Disclosures (400 min + 50 min live Q&A)

During the third module you will gain a thorough understanding of the structure and logic of the ESRS and understand how reporting requirements, data points and application requirements are interrelated. How to filter out irrelevant disclosure requirements and data points based on your materiality assessment? You will learn how to catch mandatory disclosures and we will practice them together in denxpert's CSRD reporting tool. You will also learn how to approach the disclosure of policies, actions and objectives and see how denxpert's CSRD reporting tool supports this process. Later in the module there will be an introduction to denxpert's CSRD reporting tool, then at the end of the module we will have a live Q&A session with the instructors.

MODUL 4 - Collecting data for metrics & topical deep dives (350 min + 50 min live Q&A)

In the fourth module, Gabriela Fistis will introduce us to the essentials of carbon footprint calculation for CSRD compliance. Then Gabriella Lovas will introduce us to bidoviersity reporting, which is considered one of the most challenging tasks in CSRD implementation. Our expert will guide you through the process of this reporting. During this module, we will also take an in-depth look at social standards to inspire target setting and measure progress. Toward the end of the module, we will introduce you to denxpert's DATA and Carbon Footprint modules for collecting raw data, then at the end of the module, we will bring the experts together to answer your questions in a live Q&A.

Bonus Module - denxpert CSRD software implementation - 120 min

At the end of the training, each participant will have the opportunity to implement a customised software implementation for audit-proof reporting. A software licence will be provided to all participants.
